Tender Description
At the time of publishing this invitation to register an interest, the scope includes the construction of earthworks and piling.
The scope includes but is not necessarily limited to:
• Site Preparation, including:
o Surveying;
o Clear and grade of an 18-hectare greenfield site;
o Temporary site fencing and signage; and
o Site access and traffic approvals.
• Earthworks, including:
o Topsoil striping (approx. 25,000 m3);
o Contaminated land management;
o Existing soil and groundwater condition management/environmental management;
o Supply, transportation and compaction of bulk material fill (approx. 200,000 m3);
o Ground improvement works and distribution of pre-load material andcut to fill to the designed profile; and
o Settlement monitoring, 3 months pre-load.
• Piling, including:
o Piling design to comply with the design loadings and end bearing capacities;
o Pile fabrication and installation (approx. 1800 x 33m driven piles); and
o Pile load testing and certification.
• Temporary works, including:
o Temporary site access roads;
o Piling and working platform; and
o Temporary facilities for contractor and client team. Gibson Island H2 requires the contractor to:
• be engaged as Principal Contractor, for the purposes of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2011 (QLD) and shall hold the QBCC licence;
