Tender Description
The project is for Alice St Levee, part of the Grafton levee wall, between Alice St and Queen St. The area encompasses 2 residential blocks, approximately 520m in length.
Investigation and Design has already been completed.
This project is for levee rock wall upgrades and protection of the toe of the Clarence Riverbank.
Issues that will be addressed include; vegetation concerns (too little or too much, including, large trees), over steep levee, levee toe erosion, insufficient storm water drainage and inadequate private retaining walls.
Expected outcomes include remediating the aforementioned issues, especially toe levee remediation, drainage and vegetation.
