The Public Transport Authority Project Delivery (PPD) is delivering a number of projects that require the support of an organisation/organisations primarily with a low voltage electrical skillset.  The works vary from a simple extension of electrical distribution boards to support the Radio System Replacement (RSR) project to the refurbishment of power supply infrastructure and the design and construction of new Standalone Equipment Rooms (SER).  The design effort required across the SER sites varies and the works at Gosnells, Perth Yard West, and Kenwick are well-defined with designs at 100%.

A number of the works are time critical and to ensure that key project milestones are met, it is anticipated that the works may be contracted across a number of Tenderers.  The Tender will allow for Tenderers to bid for single or multiple works or sites and the awarded Contract(s) will provide for committed works and options to be exercised at the discretion of the Public Transport Authority.  It is anticipated that this approach will enable the supply base to innovate and develop work packages that maximise workforce productivity
