Tender Description
We are seeking quotations for the erection of a 20.99m x 6.38m steel framed awning at the Coleambally Swimming Pool with the following specifications:
• The awning is to be a self-supporting structure erected along the eastern wall of the main kiosk building, from the existing pool fence at the southern end to the northern end of the kiosk building.
• The awning is to be attached at the western end to an existing awning and follow the existing roof line.
• Builder to supply all necessary materials including but not limited to, the footings, frame, roof covering, guttering, down pipes, fixtures etc.
• The awning is to be constructed in accordance with the Design Plans from Associated Civil & Mechanical Engineering Enterprises Drawing numbers; 23021-001, 23021 – 002 and 23021 – 003, dated 12/4/2023.
• All steel members are to be galvanised steel.
• Roof sheeting to be galvanised corrugated iron to match the existing awning.
• New support columns adjacent to the external wall of the kiosk building are to be spaced as close as possible to the location indicated on the plan without encroaching upon any door, window, walkway or roller door openings.
• Roof sheeting to is to be finished level to the inside edge of the existing fascia.
• Downpipes are to be attached to at least 2 of the outside columns and are to discharge at ground level onto the existing concrete concourse.
• Builder to be responsible for the removal of the existing shade sail adjacent to the southern end of the kiosk building. The support columns on the shade sail are to cut at ground level and the slab and resulting hole filled and levelled with concrete.
• Builder to be responsible to remove the existing flood light on the kiosk building.
• Existing downpipe on the kiosk building is to be removed and a roof spreader on new awning roof.
• Download structural specifications.
