Forrest Beach Drainage Improvements

Hinchinbrook Shire Council has been successful under the Queensland Reconstruction Authorities Queensland Resilience and Risk Reduction Fund (QRRRF) to undertake drainage improvements for the construction of an open earth drain at Forrest Beach.

Council invites tenders from suitably qualified tenderers to undertake the construction of an open earth drain and associated access crossing to improve the outlet and stormwater drainage system on the easement between Bill Johnson Drive and Beatts Road. The works extend through to Forrest Lane.

It is Council’s preference for construction to be completed no later than 27 October 2023.
