The Organisation

Western Power is a Western Australian State Government owned corporation responsible for building, maintaining and operating an electricity network that connects our 2.3 million customers to traditional and renewable energy sources, delivering an essential service to our community.

The Scope

Western Power is seeking registrations of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations, for the initial implementation of an off-the-shelf vegetation management solution, with a view to expanding its capability over time.

The current project scope covers implementation of the capabilities outlined in the below image as “Must Have”. Items listed as “Should Have” may be implemented at a later date. Overall Conceptual Flow.

Services required under the project would include:

• Implementation of the product, focusing on the highlighted “Must Have” capabilities/features.

• Integration with Western Power platforms (e.g. ERP, EAM, GIS etc.).

• Ongoing support of the product.

Registration Requirements

Suppliers are required to respond to the following for the ROI submission:

• That your product is an off-the-shelf solution.

• That your product has the capabilities highlighted as “Must Have” (see above image).

• That your product has the capabilities listed as “Should Have” for potential implementation at a later stage.

• That your product has out of the box integrations with industry standard platforms (including, but not limited to Enterprise Resource Planning (Ellipse), Enterprise Asset Management (Ellipse), Geographical Information Systems (ESRI), Customer Relationship Management (Microsoft Dynamics)).

o Please specify products for each platform type that you are able to integrate with.

• Your organisation’s capability, capacity, and relevant experience on similar projects (particularly in relation to Utilities).

The submission should include two components:

1. A maximum of two A4 Pages addressing the above requirements

2. VMS Evaluation Criteria
