Tender ID: 531107
Tender Details
Tender Description
Family, domestic, and sexual violence (FDSV) including child sexual abuse is a recognised and serious challenge facing the Northern Territory. Therefore, NT PHN will be commissioning responses under two initiatives of the Department of Health and Aged Care. The funding forms part of a suite of initiatives to reduce all forms of FDSV against women and children and supports the implementation of the National Plan to End Violence against Women and Children 2022/23.
Goals
The current funding cycle, provided until 30 June 2026, aims to:
1.'Support the primary care sector response to family, domestic and sexual violence and child sexual abuse by improving the capacity of primary care to recognise, respond and refer impacted individuals with FDSV and other services and supports through a connecting 'local link' role. This will complement other activities delivered through this funding program, including education for primary care providers and supporting integration at a systems level.
2.'Support Recovery pilot model provides trauma-informed recovery care to improve coordination of and access to services for victim-survivors of FDSV, through establishing local case management care teams and access to trauma-informed psychological therapies.
Both activities will need to be coordinated with initiatives under the NT Domestic, Family, and Sexual Violence Reduction Framework. It is anticipated that a preferred provider will be determined by September 2023.
The Expression of Interest round will be followed by a formal tender application round. The EOI will not be a selective process, but if your organisation aims to apply for funding in the tender process, it must participate in this EOI.
The EOI is open to any organisation supporting people impacted by FDSV.
