Central Coast Council is seeking Tenders for a contract for services for the engagement of a qualified and experienced plumbing contractor to inspect, test and certify all backflow protection devices specified by Council. Sizes range from 20mm up to 150mm.

Central Coast Council (CCC) currently has approximately 766 sites where approximately 801 testable backflow prevention devices are used to protect the potable water supplies from contamination or pollution due to backflow. Council is seeking to use this Request for Tender as a basis for entering a Contract with the preferred Tenderer.

The term of the contract is for a period of 3 years commencing on the date identified in the Letter of Acceptance. Council may extend the term of the contract for a further 1-year period at the sole discretion of Council based on Contractor performance.

The Contract is a `Schedule of Rates` Contract that will remain valid for the fixed three-year term.
