Provision of an Enhanced Banned Drinkers Register / Take-away Alcohol Management System

The Western Australian (WA) State Government has been running trials of a Banned Drinkers Register (BDR) and Take-away Alcohol Management System (TAMS) in the Pilbara and Kimberley regions, and Goldfields electorate since January 2021, and in Carnarvon and Gascoyne Junction since March 2023. The BDR/TAMS forms part of a suite of activities to assist communities in managing excessive alcohol consumption.

Through this procurement process, the Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries (the Customer) is seeking the provision of a BDR/TAMS solution delivered as a Software as a Service (SaaS) which incorporates technology capability for identifying targeted people, to be deployed to each licensee (together referred to as the Solution).
