Tender Description
The contract for Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) for the Crushing Milling and Beneficiation (CMB) plant was awarded to two parties: GR Engineering Services and Primero in 2022. This ECI phase is expected to last until the fourth quarter of 2023 calendar year, after which an EPC contract will be awarded to the successful Contractor in accordance with the project delivery timelines.

The project is situated in generally flat terrain and comprises four large open pits that will be mined in a series of stages. The ore will be delivered to a new processing plant or low-grade stockpiles, while the waste will be deposited in large waste dumps adjacent to each of the pits.
