Expressions of interest - Lease of 6 Washington Street

⁠⁠⁠Expressions of interest (EOI) are invited from organisations wishing to occupy 6 Washington Street, South Hobart.

There is a great opportunity for a range of community, sport and recreation, cultural or similar organisations to utilise this facility.

The building is situated with direct access from the Washington Street side of the South Hobart Soccer Oval, which also has access to Darcy and Wentworth Streets. The building has an approximate floor area of 210m² with 78m² being office space, 40m² of storage space, and 97m² being common areas. Internally, there is a main entry with a reception area, separate office rooms, a large main hall area with two adjoining amenities rooms, and a storeroom, as well as an additional storeroom, kitchen, and toilet facilities.

It is anticipated that the successful applicant will provide positive benefits and values to the community, in line with the City's vision and Council strategies, to ensure that the Council's community asset provides the best possible use and value to the Hobart community. Whilst expressions of interest are not limited to Not for Profit Organisations, preference will be given to those parties who can demonstrate positive community and social outcomes.

Expression of interest documentation is available for download. All expressions of interest are to be lodged with the City of Hobart by 5 pm Monday 31 July 2023. The City of Hobart reserves the right not to consider expressions of interest lodged after that date.
