Horticulture Innovation Australia (Hort Innovation) is a not-for-profit, grower-owned Research and Development Corporation (RDC) for Australia’s $14.4 billion horticulture industry. Hort Innovation invests around $110 million in research and development (R&D) and marketing programs annually to provide benefit to industry and the wider community.
Hort Innovation is seeking a suitably qualified, experienced and capable delivery partner for the project: Finding opportunities to strengthen innovation in the Australian vegetable industry (VG23000).
The objectives of the services being sought are to:
Benchmark the structure and function of innovation in the Australian vegetable sector; and identify opportunities to strengthen innovation in the Australia vegetable sector.
Deliver a report that details the structure and function that is supporting innovation in Australian vegetables, identifies opportunities for strengthening innovation and that provides a set of recommendations and action plans that have been co-developed in partnerships with relevant industry stakeholders.
Publish a scientific paper that contributes to the growing body of work in the structural-functional analysis of agricultural innovation systems.
Hort Innovation has prepared a Request for Proposal (RFP) document that provides background information, outlines the scope of services, the procurement process and the information required from interested parties.
