⁠⁠⁠QUOTATIONS MUST INCLUDE:

• Diesel engine developing 11kw (minimum net engine power with pre-cleaner. The cooling system shall be suited to Australian conditions.

• 12 volt electrical system preferred.

• Neutral Isolation Switch fitted

• Operator’s platform shall give clear visibility at as many angles as possible. The controls layout must be within easy reach for operators of all sizes. 

     A fully suspended seat with multiple adjustments and a seat belt to be fitted.

     The canopy is to meet S.A.E. criteria for ROPS and FOPS.

• The canopy is to be fitted with internal and external rear view mirrors. A rotating amber beacon with protection guard to be fitted.

• Purpose built and automatic back up alarm shall be fitted and also a clearly audible horn.

• Lighting – all lighting shall comply with the motor traffic act of New South Wales for 24-hour registration and be suitably guarded.

• Front and rear work lights are to be fitted.

• 300mm x 450mm backhoe buckets

• Quotation for the supply of a suitable trailer to transport the machine and an additional backhoe bucket. Trailer to be of heavy-duty construction.

• Dry chemical fire extinguisher shall be fitted to the machine.

• The machine is to have suitable tie down points for transportation. Suppliers shall state the Warranty period and/or hours applicable to the unit offered. Such warranty shall include labour and parts. Travelling charges, if any, are to be listed during the warranty period.

• The successful Supplier shall provide staff training for nominated employees of Carrathool Shire Council to assist in the efficient operation and maintenance of the unit. Suppliers shall specify the level of training proposed to be provided for both operators and workshop personnel. It is preferred that training take place at the Carrathool Shire Works Depot and a Certificate of Competency be issued to the operators on successful completion of training.

• Spare keys for the machine to be supplied

• The following manuals are to supplied with the machine:-

▪ 1 x spare parts manual – preferred CD format if available

▪ 1 x workshop manual – preferred CD format if available

▪ 1 x operators manual – hard copy

• All applicable safety signage required by WH & S Regulations and WorkCover are to be fitted, including SWL signage for lifting.

• A full Risk Assessment to be carried out by Plant Assessor and supplied with the machine.
