Tender Description
Demolition required under this section includes all labour, materials and equipment required for the scheduled works.
- Perform the demolition necessary to carry out the work to AS 2601 and Council’s General Conditions for Construction AS2124
- Identifying, proving and clearly marking all existing services within the works area.
- Decommissioning and disconnection of all services to the existing tennis club.
- Demolition and disposal of any redundant services to the tennis club and courts.
- Backfilling and compaction of removed services to natural ground level. Backfilling and compaction to appropriate Australian standards.
- Stormwater and sewer mains are to be protected and remain in their existing condition.
- Demolition of the tennis club building and tennis courts and all associated infrastructure including but not limited to fencing, lighting, concrete paths, seating, benches, building footings etc. to natural ground level.
- Remove and dispose of all items in the club building and tennis courts; tidy up the subgrade and level it. Please refer to the attachments for the extent of works area and list of items (not limited) to be demolished and disposed under the works under the contract.
- Demolition of the concrete netball court (referred to bay 9 in the attachment) and removal
