Provision of Tree Watering and Planting Services

 Background

The City is seeking the services of a licensed (as required), qualified and experienced Contractor to provide tree planting and watering services throughout the City of South Perth.

The City will supply all water, materials, and plant stock to be installed as part of the annual planting and watering program. Plant stock is supplied from the City-owned production nursery and planting materials are purchased and supplied by the City for the contracted services.

The Contractor will be required to provide all labour, plant and equipment, transport/cartage, traffic management, supervision/administrative costs, surveying, traveling expenses etc., and anything else necessary to carry out the services required under the proposed Contract.

The contract period is for two (2) years and is subject to acceptable performance and operational requirements, the contract may be extended for three (3) further separate one (1) years periods at the sole discretion of the City.

The City

The City of South Perth is a medium-sized metropolitan local government authority in the inner southern suburbs of Perth's Western Australian capital city. Situated across the Swan River about 4 kilometres south of Perth CBD, the City is nearly 20 square kilometres and covers the suburbs of South Perth, Kensington, Como, Manning, Karawara, Waterford and Salter Point. The Organisation

The City's Civic Centre is located on the corner of Sandgate Street and South Terrace, South Perth. The City also operates from other locations, including its Operations Centre at 199 Thelma Street, Como.
