Tender Description
Ergon Energy is seeking a Request for Information (RFI) submission from interested parties, including councils, private contractors, and consultants, looking to participate in the construction of four solar farm projects in the remote communities of Burketown, Boulia, Windorah and Doomadgee in Queensland.
The projects involve the construction of four solar farms with associated grid-forming energy storage systems, which will be connected to the existing network by Ergon Energy. The aim is to achieve approximately 50% renewable energy at each site by June 2025.
Interested parties are requested to submit their interest by:
1. Completing the RFI Response Worksheet.
2. Submitting their completed RFI Response Worksheet (and any supporting attachments) to SPGSourcing@energyq.com.au by 11am (Queensland Standard Time) on Monday 10 July 2023.
The objective of this RFI is to conduct market sounding, in order to gain a better understanding of the current supply market for the work packages listed and the level of interest in future procurement activities.
Your response is important to Energy Queensland. The information received from respondents will assist with the development of a strategy to inform the best procurement method and approach to meet the business objectives.
