Tender Description
The proposed contract will be to supply and install two DN315 HDPE watermains, across the Mataura River, near Maitland Street in Gore as shown in Figure 1 below.
While a traditional fixed sum contract is preferred by the Council, a partnering style of contract may be considered if there are unknown risk associated with time and price, to enable both parties to work together to achieve the required outcome.
Note there are two interrelated contracts for the project as follows:
• Under River Pipeline Contract which this ROI relates to,
• The installation of the pipelines that will connect to either end of the “Under River Pipeline.” The Council intends to issue a separate RfP for this contract once the design requirements of the Under River Pipeline have been confirmed.
