The NSW Disability Inclusion Act 2014, requires each NSW Council to have a Disability Inclusion Action Plan (DIAP). Tamworth Regional Council (Council) is requesting quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced consultancy firms (Consultants) to work in partnership with Council, key stakeholders, and the broader community, to undertake the development Council's DIAP.
This request for a quote is to engage the services of a Disability Inclusion Planning Specialist, on behalf of Tamworth Regional Council (Council), to develop a DIAP, and ensure the commitment Council makes in the action plan is reflective of the needs of the Tamworth Region community, is aligned with Council's Blueprint 100 plan, and can be realistically implemented.
The DIAP will provide Council with clear direction, and a list of actions to deliver over the next four years to remove barriers to access and increase opportunities for inclusion of people with a disability.
