Preferred Provider Panel - Literacy and Numeracy Experts Supplementation 2023

⁠⁠⁠Literacy and numeracy improvement is a key priority of the Department. The specific focus is to improve literacy and numeracy achievement by all children and students, in line with the Department’s goal for our teachers to have the skills, knowledge and support they need to enable growth for children and students.

The Department for Education wishes to supplement an existing preferred, professional learning provider panel of high-quality literacy and numeracy experts (provider/s) who can work with the Department’s educators to improve capability to teach literacy and numeracy.

The objective of the panel of providers is to support the Department’s schools and preschools in their decisions about which external providers to select for the provision of literacy and/or numeracy professional learning services. This will ensure greater consistency across sites in the use of providers who have been quality assured and endorsed by the Department and thus contributing to sustained improvements in teaching practice across schools and preschools, improving literacy and numeracy achievement for all children and students.
