Recycled Water Extension to Morgan Park

Southern Downs Regional Council (SDRC) is seeking a suitably qualified Contractor to undertake the supply and installation of the recycled water main extension to Morgan Park.

The location of the works shall be from the existing recycled water mains at the corner of Kenilworth St and Grove Av, Warwick to the existing 7ML reservoir located at Morgan Park Access Road, Morgan Park, approximately 6km from Warwick town centre.

Council has identified access to raw water or potable water for irrigation becomes very limited during prolong drought periods that can cause economic stress and social hardship for the stakeholders of the Morgan Park. To arrange for Morgan Park precinct certainty of water supply for irrigation throughout the year to continue to operate the facilities and host events Council has decided to extend the recycled water mains from the Warwick Industrial Estate to Morgan Park.

The works undertaken shall be in accordance with relevant standards in order to provide functionality and reliability.
