Tender Description
As part of its Drainage Asset Management Plan, the city has undertaken stormwater modelling and catchment analysis for the Southport CBD. It was identified improvements could be carried out providing direct benefit to the China town precinct and the immediate vicinity. This project will see the augmentation of existing infrastructure by redirecting rainfall run-off from the Garden Street and Suter Street area to the south and then east along Lawson and Short Street, before connecting with the existing outlet to the Gold Coast Seaway.
NOTE:
Whilst responses to this ROI will be used to inform the City’s contracting approach and program, the City reserves the right to move directly to a closed/select tender process with some or all of those suppliers that formally register their interest and are deemed to have sufficient capacity and capability. It is therefore strongly recommended that all suppliers with a genuine interest in tendering for the works respond to this ROI.
Further to the above, due to the highly specialised nature of the works, it is requested that only companies with the appropriate experience, capability, resources and capacity to undertake the works register their interest in this project.
