Tender Description
The aim of this project is to upgrade the Jervis Bay Maritime Museum public Reserve and construct
- accessible pathways to meet Australian Standards,
- construction of a new timber boardwalk,
- accessible ramps,
- new concrete garden paths with a yarning circle,
- landscaped areas
- accessible options for small boats on the pond with a ramp and pontoon.
The Museum and Lady Denman Reserve are situated on Crown Land, and the site is directly adjacent to Currambene Creek and bordered by Woollamia Road and Dent Street, Huskisson.
The site, is used by the community for recreational purposes, as well as for weddings and community events. It also provides for general public access to the Mangrove Boardwalk. The site receives around 15-20,000 visitors annually.
