Tender Description
The Department of Education via Dakabin State High School is inviting tenders for the construction of refurbishments to the school Amenities. Generally speaking, scope of works are to include and associated works.
Dakabin State High School requires infrastructure upgrade to the existing, toilet block
• Demolition of the existing block work, the safe disconnection of services without interrupting the day to day working of the school, removal of all the old Epoxy flooring, to make way of the new construction works.
•Preparations of the site and construction for toilet block upgrade.
• Installation of all new screening across both spaces.
• Male and female staff toilet to have its own access via an external access
• All new E-poxy flooring in main areas and staff cleaning storage room to be vinyl
• Supply and installation all new plumbing fixtures. (as per schedule)
• Relocation of services as per supplied documentations.
• Ensuring compliant design and construction to meet all Australian Standards for access and compliance and DoE standards. Design to be certified with certifier engaged by contractor prior to construction.
Design and Construct contract applies to this tender.
The works are able to occur as soon as practical before August 17 2023 and are to be undertaken under a Design and Construction contract.

A Mandatory Site Visit on Monday 29th May 2023 at 9:00am - please meet outside the School entry. Please confirm attendance prior. Tenderers will not be able to visit the site outside this arranged time so please invite relevant subcontractors to assist in pricing.
