The works comprise of the removal of the existing playground, install of new playground, construction of a new basketball court, drinking fountain and landscaping.

The preference is for site to be closed for a maximum allowance of 45 calendar days. Council must be notified 2 weeks prior to works commencing so the public can also be notified.

The Contractor is responsible for all works detailed in the technical specification.

Landscape works included in this construction are for the supply of all plant, labour, materials, quality assurance, as-built drawings and incidentals necessary for:

a. The removal of a slide and installation of a new play structure.

b. Removal of existing safety surface and replacement with new.

c. Construct a new basketball court along with drinking fountain and associated water supply.

d. Construct a concrete path from the road kerb to the edge of the basketball court.

e. Installation of a new basketball hoop and drinking fountain

f. Re-seed grassed areas affected by the construction works.
