Queensland Hydro are inviting Suppliers to quote for the provision of Groundwater Borehole Drilling for the for the Pioneer-Burdekin Pumped Hydro Energy Storage Project (PBPHES).

The objective of this RFQ is to establish a Standing Offer Arrangement (SOA) with a minimum of two (2) suitably qualified contractors to perform groundwater borehole drilling for the Pioneer-Burdekin PHES project.

 Works to be carried out under this Contract include, but are not limited to:

• Drilling of monitoring boreholes to depths of between 6m and 60m.
• The drilling of pumping/injection test boreholes to depths of between 6m and 60m.
• The installation of monitoring standpipe instrumentation or pumping/injection test casing with the drilled bores as directed by the Engineering Geologist – Field Works.
