Tender Description
Mount Isa City Council has been successful in gaining funding for the design and construction of an aqua tower to be constructed next to the existing leisure pool at the Splashez Aquatic Centre.
The objective of the aqua tower is to provide an accessible and safe interactive wet play environment specifically serving children in the age group of 0-12 years. The aquatic playground should consist of a minimum of 2 water slides and 12 water feature elements. The aim is to provide a fulfilling recreational aquatic facility for the children which will be a significant attraction to the native community and the visitors.
The location of the site will be Splashez Aquatic Centre, 61 Isa St, Parkside QLD 4825. The designated construction site will need to be delineated and all works need to be performed such that encompassing kids' pool and lap pool remain functional for the community with minimal disturbance. The treatment plant is to be decommissioned temporarily while performing the works pertaining to the treatment system of the aqua tower, where required. The proposed location is within a 5m distance of the pump room. Assume no service clashes and good ground conditions. Approximate area = 400 Sq. m2
