Below is a brief summary of the land and what we are looking for from the expression of interest:

The purpose of this REOI is to invite suitably qualified and experienced developers/consortia to register their interest in developing the land at 61 Kawaha Point Road and the adjoining unformed road (the Site) for residential housing.

It is anticipated that the most likely options for development of the Site is through either a joint venture arrangement with Council that could be structured in a number of ways, or a direct purchase of the freehold title following realignment of the unformed road.

This REOI procedure is being undertaken to ascertain more detail about options which would be proposed by Participants, and the conditions/assumptions those are based upon. The outcome of the REOI process is intended to enable realistic development of options for Council to evaluate.

The site includes 8,000m2 of RLC owned freehold land at 61 Kawaha Point Road, adjoined by 8,493m2 of unformed road between Kawaha Point Road and Frank Street. Part of the Ngongotaha cycleway is located on the unformed road.
