Tamworth Regional Council invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced professional web developers to assist with custom styling of plug-in and re design of website on WordPress.
The scope of works for the project consists of two phases.
Phase one
The first phase includes custom styling of the Eventotron plug-in in WordPress to include but not limited to:
• ‘On Now’ function – to create a function to be able to filter gigs that are on within a certain time frame to appear;
• Featured events at the top – to have a function to be able to ‘feature’ certain gigs to appear at the top in a stand-out position;
• Mobile friendly/responsive – ensure the website and plug-in is easy to utilise on mobile devices as well as desktop;
• Search for date – when filtering gigs by date having the actual date show instead of date range;
• Improve aesthetic - making both the landing page and the gig pages more aesthetic.
• Favourite/Save option – allowing fans to favourite/save/star/heart a gig that would appear in a list they can refer back to
Specific information for Eventotron plug-in setup can be found here: https://hello.eventotron.com/super-simple-box-office-plugin-documentation/
Phase one would be required to be completed by Friday, 29 September 2023.
Phase two
The second phase includes developing a new website on WordPress CMS which will be primarily content based but should include the following functionalities:
• Countdown timer – counting down days, hours, minutes, and seconds until the next festival;
• Advertising space – including vertical skyscrapers on home page and horizontal leader board spaces on all other pages;
• News section – likely utilising posts functionality in WordPress;
• Newsletter subscription – Embed code from Mailchimp;
• Social icons;
• Instagram feed plug-in;
• Shop functionality – for a small number of items, potentially using WooCommerce plug-in.
We will also require the inclusion of the management of hosting.
