McKinlay Shire Council Julia Creek Turf Club Amenities Upgrade

⁠⁠⁠McKinlay Shire Council is located in Julia Creek approximately 650km west of Townsville and 250km east of Mount Isa. Council owns and operates the McIntyre Park multi-user facility which incorporates the Julia Creek Campdraft, Julia Creek Pony Club and Julia Creek Turf Club. This tenders invites requests to provide a complete refurbishment of the existing amenities facility to enhance its appearance, address some minor structural defects and a new hydraulic layout for the PWD accessible area of the amenities.

The scope of works includes:

• Undertake a detailed site measure up of the existing structure

• Demolition works as noted on the project documentation.

• Complete internal strip out of all non-structural components (partition walls, toilets, shower screen basins etc.) and refurbish as per the architectural documentation.

• Supply and install all new partition walls, toilets, shower screens, toppings, flooring, basins etc as per the architectural documentation.

• Undertake all plumbing, electrical works

• Undertake structural rectification works and structural upgrades as per structural/archiectural documentation.

• Install new footpath, internal slab and any other concrete works required.

The appointed contractor will be responsible for the entire scope of works, inclusive of:

• Project management and administration

• Provision of As Constructed drawings

• Supply of all Equipment and Plant required to complete the whole of works

• Site establishment and disestablishment

• Liaison with superintendent and McKinlay Shire Council

• Installation of all components to complete the whole of works

• Material testing as required

• Other minor works as required to complete the whole of works

• Quality Assurance testing and documentation

The project program requires that the works are completed by the 31st October 2023. The contractor is required to provide a detailed program with their submission.
