Construction of Pontoon bridge and viewing platform (Waratah)

⁠⁠⁠The Waratah-Wynyard Council is seeking tenders from experienced Structural Steel Fabricators partnered with a Civil Contractor or similar organizations for the construction of two projects.

Project 1 Waratah Falls Viewing platform

Construction of a Viewing platform and lighting system.

Project 2 Railway Bridge Pontoon Walkway

Construction of a Pontoon bridge incorporating concrete access ramps, supply and install a proprietary floating pontoon bridge (Ausfloat), linking structures and removal of walkway infrastructure on the adjacent former rail bridge.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME: Tenders close at 3.00 pm AEST on 9 june 2023 and submissions must be fully received by this time. Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced Tender or all or any part of a Tender and reserves the right to conduct the Request for Tender process and select the successful respondent(s) as it sees fit. Council staff are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Late, verbal or emailed proposals will not be accepted.
