Northern Water Supply Project – Legal Services

⁠⁠⁠Infrastructure SA requires the provision of legal services in relation to the NWSP. The scope of legal services to be performed by the external legal advisers comprises the legal services required to define, structure and deliver the Nothern Water Supply Project (NWSP) to the stage of commencement of commercial operations, encompassing:

1. Procurement
2. Corporate and Commercial Structuring
3. Property
4. Regulatory and Approvals

The legal services are to be provided in conjunction with the solicitors of the Crown Solicitor’s Office (CSO), in accordance with instructions received from or through the CSO. The external legal advisers will need to collaborate with the CSO (and potentially other external legal advisers) and keep the CSO informed of project developments.

The engagement of an external legal adviser by Infrastructure SA requires the approval of the Crown Solicitor under Treasurer’s Instruction 10 and will be on the CSO standard terms of engagement.
