Overview
Funding is available for bushfire-impacted landholders who are seeking to clear the plantation area and return the land to agriculture. The affected area must be larger than 0.5 hectares and less than 100 hectares.
This program aims to support small plantation owners to recoup costs associated with clean up of bushfire-impacted plantations where they intend to convert the land to productive agriculture.
The plantation area must be planted with non-native species or be a planted native woodlot.
Subsidies of up to 50% of eligible costs (to a maximum of $2,000/hectare and up to a maximum of $150,000 per applicant) are available.
