Parks And Reserves Mowing And Grass Control Services

⁠⁠⁠Kingborough Council is seeking to engage the services of a suitably qualified and capable contractor to undertake annual mowing and brush cutting services for some of Council’s parks and reserves and nature strips in the Kingborough Municipality Urban and Rural areas.

It is the intention of Council to initially commence the Tender period from July 1st 2023 through to June 30th 2025.

The estimated required cuts are sectioned into "Blocks" however there is no guarantee of the number of cuts and there may also be the possibility of additional cuts. This may be as a result of weather conditions causing changes to growth patterns of the areas listed.

Block 1 for September through to December and could contain up to 4 cuts.

Block 2 for January through to April and could contain up to 3 cuts.

Block 3 for May through to August and could contain up to 1 cut.

All blocks and amounts of cuts are an estimate and are at the discretion of the Parks and Reserves Coordinator or contract principal.

A Pre Tender Meeting will be held on the 10th of May 2023 at the Kingborough Council Works Depot Lunch Room at 2 PM for questions and answers for all interested applicants. Please call 6211 8272 to register you attendance for the Pre Tender Meeting.

Tender opens on the 5th May 2023 and closes on the 2nd of June 2023 an expected decision on the successful applicant will be approximately 4 weeks after closing. This Tender will also be advertised in local print media.
