The Tour Down Under (TDU) event is the opening international cyclying event on the UCI World Tour claendar. Motor vehicles are required to provide critical transport and logistical support for the teams and officials of the TDU event. The event will require the use (hire) of up to 171 vehicles with the ability to have specific fitted accessories for the transportation of cycling vehicles. 

Ideally, the SATC would prefer to appoint a single supplier to deliver these services, however, due to the quantity required, the SATC may need to engage multiple suppliers to meet the requirements. 

The contract is for the 2024 & 2025 events. It is anticipated that the contract will commence in July 2023 and terminate in late February 2025, following the conclusion of the event. 

Note: the quantity of vehicles nominated in the tender documents are subject to change. The quantities listed are indicative only and may be reduced. Final number will be confirmed with the successful supplier by no later than 30 October 2023, however, there may be some last minute request prior to the event.
