⁠⁠⁠Hydro Tasmania's maintenance and refurbishment programs are often reliant on the availability of adequately skilled and experienced contract labour. Hydro Tasmania does not directly employee a trade and para-trade workforce that is able to fulfil all roles within the teams performing maintenance or major refurbishment works.

The objective of this Request for Tender process is to establish new Umbrella Contracts until the end of Financial Year (FY) 2025 to assist delivery of Hydro Tasmania's upcoming work programme. Therefore, Hydro Tasmania are seeking pricing from labour hire providers to provide a consistent set of conditions defined by Hydro Tasmania.
