Tender Description
Council, through this Request for Tender (RFT) No 2022/23-W154-1056, is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to undertake the construction of a playspace at Blackheath Soldiers Memorial Park.
The scope of works includes; challenging earthworks in wet conditions to create water play using a combination of groundwater and piped potable water; drainage; concrete paths and structures; metalwork and park furniture; rock placement and structures; procurement and installation of play equipment and soft fall; soil preparation, planting, and grassing; fencing, and a range of other landscaping elements as outlined in the drawings and specifications.
The work is divided into multiple work packages. Council will, depending on quotes received, award some or all of the work packages.
A full description of the nature and extent of the works under the Contract are set out in Part 2 of this Request for Tender. The works are tendered in Work Packages, as outlined in the pricing instrument.
