WORK UNDER THIS CONTRACT (WUC): The Works involve the supply of materials and full construction of all works as suggested for Stage 2 in the Drawings attached in the Appendix 2 for which includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following.
Prepare, implement, and monitor all required management plans.

Follow Georgetown council hold point requirement and start-up meeting.
Implement site signage, security, and safety measures.
Prepare, implement, and regulate signage and traffic management measures as required for the undertaking of works.
Undertake removal of existing vegetation, trees, and other items as required to carry out the work under the tender.
Implement site stormwater management and erosion prevention strategies.
Clear and grub areas as required.

Provide, compact, and place compliant fill to achieve subgrade levels and appropriate design widths as suggested in the design drawings. Complete site earthworks as required for cut/fill zones as in approved drawings and maintain CBR before placing the pavement materials.
Demolish existing DN300 Conc. Stormwater pipe and prepare for new work at chainage 1480.
Demolish existing DN300 Conc. Stormwater pipe and prepare for new work at chainage 20 (Approximately center of the intersection as suggested in the drawings)
Demolish existing sealed surface and prepare to widen for the construction of new road.
Remove the existing sign and stockpile at the council-approved location and reinstate it upon completion of the project.
Demolish the existing gravel driveway and prepare to construct new at Chainage 1740.
Demolish as suggested in the design drawings.
Pavement layers and Seal type is to be adopted according to the design drawings.
Alignment and Line Marking of the new roads is to be done as suggested in the design drawings.
