⁠⁠⁠The Queensland Government is seeking Proposals for Development of a Queensland resources industry guideline for managing the risks of workplace sexual assault and sexual harassment.

As the safety and health regulator of the resources industry, Resources Safety and Health Queensland (RSHQ) is working to ensure resource sector operators are managing the risk of workplace sexual harassment, including sexual assault. As part of this work, RSHQ is seeking a professional services contractor to develop a guideline for managing the risks of workplace sexual harassment for the Queensland resources industry (the guideline).

In scope:

the guideline will be for the resources industry, which includes coal mines, mineral mines and quarries, and petroleum and gas operations; and

related accommodation facilities.
Out of scope:

bullying and other psychosocial hazards, except where relevant to consider related behaviour;

proposed changes to regulatory framework; and

areas and/or activities that fall outside of RSHQ’s jurisdiction.
