Avenue of the Allies, Tanilba Bay - Road Reconstruction

Port Stephens Council (PSC) requests Contractors to submit a tender for works at Avenue of The Allies, Tanilba Bay in accordance with all details within this Tender Specification.

The objectives of the works are to;

• Improve the condition of existing deteriorated road pavement and kerbing;
• Improve stormwater drainage infrastructure in order to contain majority of stormwater flows in the road reserve and prevent inundation of private properties;
• Formalise intersections along Avenue of The Allies;
• Formalise driveways along Avenue of The Allies;
• Protect the historical streetscape of Avenue of The Allies including trees being retained and the Henry Halloran Group, Portal to the Peerless stone gates at the southern end of Avenue of The Allies, and Part of Henry Halloran Group

– Centenary Gateway (Water Arch) stone gates at the northern end of Avenue of The Allies. These northern and southern gates at Avenue of The Allies will be referred to as stone heritage gates in this tender. Tenderers have the opportunity to attend a non-mandatory scheduled site meeting which is currently scheduled for Monday 19th April 2023, meeting at the northern end of the project adjacent to the historical gates at 9:00 am.
