Derwent Valley Council
provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an
area of 4,111 km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service center of the
Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.
Derwent Valley Council has a commitment to providing and managing a
high-quality network of assets and enhancing local industries to support our
refurbishment needs and has identified remediation and improvement works to
continue to improve and enhance its civil infrastructure.
Council invites tenders to deliver the Plenty Valley Road Rehabilitation with
works to be completed within the Derwent Valley.
Derwent Valley Council continues its road rehabilitation program with support
through the Commonwealth "Black Spot" funding.
Derwent Valley Council intends to rehabilitate the following roads through its
rehabilitation program.
- Plenty Valley Road (3 Sections totaling 1065m)
A key part of decision-making will be Derwent Valley Council's understanding of
Contractors 'in-house competency for the particular work, and the ability to
deliver outcomes as committed.
