Queensland Corrective Services (the Customer) supports a range of activities that enable the provision of pastoral care and religious/spiritual support to prisoners in recognition of the value in supporting prisoner wellbeing and rehabilitation towards desistance from crime.
Service Providers are invited to submit an Offer for a grant, ITO No. QCS-498, for the provision of Pastoral Care Services.
Pastoral care services refers to emotional, social and spiritual support. The term is considered inclusive of faith based, and non-religious forms of support.
In light of Queensland’s diverse faiths and multicultural representation within the correctional system, Queensland Corrective Services is seeking to engage a range of Service Providers that can deliver non-denominational, spiritual and specialist religious services.
Service Providers are given notice that a public briefing will be held on 18 April 2023 from 10:30am-12:00pm, details are given in ITO Part A and all interested Service Providers can register to attend.
