ABOUT THE COUNCIL:

The City of Parramatta Council is located 24 kilometers west of the Sydney CBD and provides a range of goods and services within a local government area (LGA) encompassing some 84 square kilometres and comprises a population of approximately 260,296 people from a range of diverse cultures, lifestyles and experiences

ABOUT THE TENDER:

The City of Parramatta (CoP) is seeking to engage an experienced building contractor for the refurbishment of 4 Bridge Street, Granville NSW 2142.

Council intends to refurbish this premise to facilitate the Parramatta Artists' Office which is a key and imperative driver of Parramatta as a dynamic, diverse, and creative city.

The subject building is an existing two-story concrete and masonry office building. The effective height of the building is less than 12m. The approximate nett lettable area, excluding common areas and amenities, is 720 m2.

Work includes base building compliance upgrades, demolition and construction of internal walls, renovation of existing toilets, concrete entrance ramp and handrail, new floor covering and painting, and modification of mechanical and electrical work.

Tenderers must have ISO Certified Systems for Work Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Management and Environmental Management to be considered for this tender.

A final decision will be made regarding this Tender in June 2023, with works anticipated to commence in July 2023 with the aim to complete the project by November 2023. The Tender price is for a fixed lump sum.

 A non-mandatory pre-tender site inspection will be held in April 2023. It is recommended that prospective Tenderers visit the project site to confirm the 'Scope of Work', and if questions arise submit these via the Online forum or to tenders@cityofparramatta.nsw.gov.au
