Tender Description
The Supply includes the following:
• Supply, manufacture, preservation, and packing for sea and road transport of all high voltage (HV) electrical cables
• 142km (approximate) of 6.6kV Trailing cable at 150m or 200m length (Siemens Protlon equivalent with 3 pilot cores)
• Conductor sizes: Ranging from 70mm2 to 240mm2
• Aluminum cable couplers fitted to each length of trailing cable on both ends
• Trailing cable and couplers comply with the below standards but are not limited to:
- AS1747
- AS2802
• Complete with itemised Bill Of Materials (BOM) and each cable labeled and drum and marked with a unique identifier to allow installation
FMG will require progressive annual delivery of 40km cable from Q1 2024 to 2027.
All equipment supplied is required to comply with Australian Standards and Fortescue Standard Specifications. Any packages of work associated with the Project is subject to internal approvals.
The scope may change at FMG’s election to accommodate project
budget and time requirements.
