Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠The District Council of Loxton Waikerie are seeking tenders for the construction of a high-quality new Library, Visitor Information & Cultural Centre facility followed by demolition of the existing Library and construction of new Public Amenities for the local community & surrounding district.

Scope of Works:

  • Demolition of existing council building at 25 East Terrace Loxton as identified on the drawings including services to enable future works. Existing heritage building to be retained where noted and protected during demolition works. Discovery of items during demolition not known or noted on documents to be brought to the attention of the superintendent.
  • Construction of new Library and Visitor Information Centre as identified on the drawings inclusive of all services connections.
  • Decanting of existing library into new Library and Visitor Information Centre (to be confirmed with client if assistance is required during this process)
  • Demolition of existing library as identified on the drawings including services to enable future works. Existing services to be retained where nominated. Protection to all street boundaries required due to location of building in proximity to East Terrace and Drabsch St.
  • Construction of new public amenities building and associated landscaping.
