Tender Description
The George Town Council
invites tenders to redevelop the Anzac Drive RSLA building in George Town, TAS
7253. The redevelopment is part of the Council's community tourist visitor
strategy and aims to provide better facilities for mountain bike users, locals
and town visitors.
This contract is a LUMP SUM, CONSTRUCT ONLY tender, and the Council has funding
available in the current capital works program to carry out this project.

Scope of Works
General
Site establishment, site security, DBYD, Service location and site setouts
Traffic, environmental and quality management planning and implementation
Liaise with relevant utility service owners to obtain required permits and
approvals TasWater, NBN and TasNetwork.
As construct drawings
Twelve months defects liability period after practical completion
Building Specific Works
Demolition and removal of existing structure/features as required
Supply & install Light timber framing
Supply & Install Decking, sheet and panel flooring
Supply & Install Roofing (combined)
Supply & Install Cladding (combined)
Supply & Install Windows and glazed doors
Supply & Install Thermal insulation and pliable membranes
Supply & Install Lining
Supply & Install Suspended ceilings (combined)
Supply & Install Joinery
Metalwork fabrication
Fire extinguisher and blankets
Supply & Install Signages
Waterproofing wet areas
Supply & Install Ceramic tiling
Resilient finishes
Supply & place Carpets
Supply & paint Painting
Electrical, Sewer, Stormwater and Water services as per plans and
specifications
Fixture and fittings as per plans and specifications
Fit out to completion of internal finishes, floor covering and designated
furniture
