Tender Description
This invitation to register an interest, Engineering & Design Package 1 includes the following:
• Engineering design to determine Light Mobile Equipment (LME) and Support Mobile Equipment (SME) charging locations, quantities, load, utilisation and tie in to 415V network (or 33kV where required).
• LME and SME charging facility standard design.
• Scope for vehicle charging data acquisition and control
• Lightning and earthing protection.
• Network and communication requirements.
• Engineering drawings, layouts, schematics.
• Vehicle charging solutions for LMEs & SMEs in remote locations (exploration and resource definition)
• Establish material take off.
Notes:
• Light Vehicles (LVs)
• Site program listed is a guide, this list may include additional sites upon award.
• Exploration and Resource Definition vehicles can be in remote locations and require a solution to replace existing refuel pods / trailers.
• LME includes light trucks, prime movers, water carts, telehandlers, EWP & scissor lifts, buses & coaches and cranes.
• SME includes skidsteers, excavators (5-110t), graders, rollers, dozers (20- 80t), wheel loaders and dump trucks (30-50t).
The procurement process or scope may change at IB Operations’ election, including to accommodate project budget and time requirements.
Construction Package 2 includes the following:
• Tie into the 415V (or 33kV network where required) to provide LV reticulation power to LME, SME charging facilities
• Construction and commissioning of substations(if required), transformers, switchgear, ring main units, earthing systems and lightning protection;
• Construction and commissioning of underground and above ground distribution power cables
• Conductor termination, jointing, testing and energisation
• Fibre option cable installation, testing and commissioning.
