Tender Description
Wollondilly Shire Council is seeking quotation rates from suitably qualified and experienced waste contractors to provide pick up and removal of all waste streams generated via illegal dumping across the Wollondilly Shire LGA.
The successful contractors will form a panel of contractors/preferred providers whom Council will call on dependant on the requirements of the specific waste stream to be cleared. This may include clearing and/or clean-up after natural disasters such as clearing waste from creek lines or collecting waste from private property as directed.
The type of waste can be variable as outlined in the specification and the requirement can be intermittent and often may have short lead times for completion of any specific job.
Contractors will be required to sort, collect, transport, recycle, store or dispose of waste in line with the Protection of the Environment Operations Act 1997, associated Regulations and Council's specifications.
