Tender Description

  Who is this for?

NT-based tour operators who conduct tours in Kakadu and/or Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

Overview

The express program will reimburse the tour operator (applicant) up to $2,500 per entrant (maximum of 2 tour guides per business) upon completion of the following training components:

  • VTP230 Kakadu Knowledge for Tour Guides or VTP229 Uluru and Kata Tjuta Knowledge for Tour Guides
  • heavy vehicle training and licence (medium rigid or heavy rigid)
  • HLTAID011Provide First Aid, or HLTAID005 Provide First Aid in Remote Situations.


    • Tour guides will have a maximum of 4 months to complete all approved training components from the approval date, with all training completed by 31 May 2023 for applicants to receive reimbursement.
