Tender Description

The scope of this project is the supply and installation of a Category 1 static weighbridge on a high-volume freight route with Muchea Road Train Assembly Area (RTAA) on the eastern side of Tonkin Highway, south of Brand Highway Deviation.

Highly Desirable requirements include:

Solution:

Ability to weigh oversize and over-mass vehicles with axle spreads wider than that of as-of-right vehicles, and expected to be at a 5.5 metre width deck

Provision of stop/go (red/green) lights to manage those vehicles to be weighed

Installation of boundary bollards and or fencing

Ability to provide onsite printable record (weigh docket) and or electronic record.

Must operate within the appropriate limits of error that are permitted under the National Measurement Regulations (1999) (Commonwealth) (NMR Regulations)

Must be of a pattern approved by the National Measurement Institute at the Department of Industry, Science, Energy and Resources; and

Provision of training and training module on the use of the weighbridge

Installation and Maintenance:

Civil Works, including excavation, material supply and concrete infill of deck and foundations.

Installation, National Measurement Institute Trade verification.

Provision of maintenance and calibration services for a 5-year term.
