The Augusta Boat Harbour site is located within the Shire of Augusta Margaret River, midway between the Augusta town site and Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse on the eastern side of Leeuwin Road.

The land is zoned “Harbour Purposes” in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River (Shire) Local Planning Scheme No 1.
